Improvement Meme: Shooting Star

I've been going through a bit of an art slump lately, and I've had trouble coming up with ideas. While searching through my pictures folder, I found this old drawing from before I even joined deviantART, and I decided to redraw it.

Although I still have a long way to go before my art is perfect, but I've definitely improved. This particular drawing was from my wolf phase- trust me, everyone goes through a Disney Style Wolf phase sooner or later in life. I made a lot of changes, such as switching the grass for snow; I thought it went better with the overall atmosphere of the painting, and I made the wolf darker.

The first drawing was made in Photoshop, the second one was made in Paint Tool SAI. I'm really happy with the results, and I hope to keep improving!
